Claiming BABY
LBTC holders are eligible for BABY. BABY is the governance token of Babylon, and is proportional to previously issued Babylon points. Users Babylon points were issued proportional to the amount of LBTC held and duration. Users will be able to claim their BABY tokens from the "Staking Yield Pool" provided they have enough BABY to cover the transaction costs for claiming.
Step-by-step
First create a Babylon Genesis compatible address. You can find instructions here on how to do this. Note: it is required to have either an OKX, Bitget, Keplr, Cosmostation, or Leap wallet to create your Baby Address.
Then navigate to the Staking Yield Pool page on our App.
Connect the EVM wallet associated to your LBTC staking activity in the upper right-hand corner.
Enter your Babylon Genesis compatible address into the claim module.
Select the amount you wish to claim and press claim. Note: This may take up to one minute.
After claiming your BABY rewards, you can swap BABY for LBTC via Tower DEX on the Babylon Genesis chain.
LBTC can then be bridged to Ethereum (using Skip — bridge provider) and then onto any other LBTC supported chain. Note: Only bridging to Ethereum is currently supported. But once bridged back to Ethereum, users can then bridge LBTC to any supported network using the bridge functionality on the Lombard App.
Users who have staked BTC and minted LBTC on multiple chains using the same address, can claim all BABY to the same Babylon Genesis Address. For more information, see our FAQs.
Note: users who staked directly to Lombard's Finality Provider on Babylon are not eligible to claim BABY through Lombard, and should claim via the Babylon claims portal. After claiming any BABY you are eligible for, you can navigate to Tower DEX to swap your BABY for LBTC.
