BSA Integration Overview

Below are collected a set of documents which aim to explain the Bitcoin Smart Account (BSA) Protocol, along with relevant material for client onboarding, including API endpoints and states as well as the AO integration guide.

Bitcoin Smart Accounts is a trust minimised bridging solution which allows a depositor of Bitcoin to retain custody of their native BTC, whilst receiving a BTC wrapper (BTC.b) on a destination chain for use in DeFi.

The four documents attached below are as follows:
