Supported Blockchains

As part of our roadmap, we aim to enrich Lombard's DeFi ecosystem by furthering LBTC's reach. One part of this enrichment involves expanding LBTC integrations to other blockchains. Originally, users staked their Bitcoin by sending a staking transaction via the Bitcoin network, and minting LBTC on the Ethereum network. Users can now mint and stake on other blockchains.

Lombard is building a bridge which will enable users to seamlessly move their LBTC between ecosystems. This bridge will further enhance users' DeFi accessibility, and allow maximal engagement for LBTC holders.

BNB Smart Chain (BSC): Binance's BNB Smart Chain, abbreviated to BSC, allows users to stake BTCB and mint LBTC on BSC.
