Oct. '24 Flash Event
Luminary Program: Flash Event from 3rd October – 24th October
To celebrate the official start of the Luminary Program, we’ve launched an additional short-term Flash Event offering double the Lux on all new BTC staked before Babylon Cap 2 next Wednesday!
A 100% boost is applied to the regular Lux rewards for holding LBTC and for allocating LBTC into DeFi opportunities with our selected partners, effectively doubling your Lux earnings during the Flash Event. All Lux will be issued retroactively.

Normally, staking 1 BTC for 21 days earns you 21,000 Lux. During the Flash Event, that same 1 BTC will earn you 42,000 Lux.
Multiplier changes:
Lombard DeFi Vault: 4x (normal rate) → 8x (flash-event rate)
Pendle: 3x (normal rate) → 6x (flash-event rate)
etc.
Rules for Eligibility
Minimum Deposit: 0.001 BTC
Only new native BTC deposits will receive a Lux boost. Swapping into LBTC is not eligible.
Existing users can qualify by increasing their deposit by at least 0.001 BTC. Only net new BTC will earn the 100% Lux Boost.
Deposit Window: October 3rd 11:00 UTC – October 9th 11:00 UTC
100% Boost Window: October 3rd 11:00 UTC – October 24th 11:00 UTC (21 days)
LBTC balance must be maintained until October 24th 11:00 UTC (21 days)
If a user unstakes before 24th October then the Lux boost will be forfeited, all regular Lux will still be issued.
Examples:
Suppose on Oct. 2nd user owns 2 LBTC, on Oct. 4th user deposits 1 LBTC, and balance is 2 LBTC on Oct. 24th. Result: user gets no boosted Lux from native Flash Event.
Suppose on Oct. 2nd user owns 2 LBTC, on Oct. 4th user deposits 1 LBTC, and balance is 3 LBTC till Oct. 24th. Result: user gets boosted Lux for 1 LBTC from Native Flash Event.
Suppose on Oct. 2nd user owns 0 LBTC, on Oct. 4th user deposits 2LBTC, and balance is 1 LBTC on Oct. 24th. Result: user gets boosted Lux for 1 LBTC from Native Flash Event.
